Practice Dance Shoes
Instructors provide you with a lovely studio dance floor, but need help to maintain it’s smooth surface.
Please wear specialized dance shoes, with a soft, suede bottom to the studio, and keep them away from dirt, rocks, water, and extreme heat.
Practice shoes are lower to the ground , to help you with your stability in turns. They also enable you to dance for hours longer than the high heels do, because of the equal distribution of your bodies weight upon the soles of your feet.
The body of the shoe should be a little tight, as they will stretch with use. Powder on the inside can help with this process, and keep your feet cool on an active evening of dancing. Toes usually come just to the end of the front of the shoes, and strap holes are adjustable if need be.
